Warhammer: Skeletons

We had to use some skeletons for an upcoming WFRP session, I thought it would be funny to convert some Games Workshop skeletons to appear like some dead empire soldiers. So I added some helmets and stuff for several of them.
It might be more fun to do with Zombies – Something I’ll consider for the future.

Warhammer: Undead Skeletons

Below you can see two pictures of all the 6 skeletons I made and painted. I’ll probably be making a few more soon, there’s always room for more skeletons :-)

Christmas Miniatures & Diorama

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Just in time for christmas – The two christmas dwarves below are from Scibor – I painted these two 2 years ago I believe it was. But I figured I might as well put them up on my blog now.

The other two pictures are from a little Christmas diorama I put together this year. I finished painting it a few days ago and kinda had to rush-paint it to be finished before Christmas (I didn’t want it ending up on my table for a whole year ;-)

The miniatures are from Reaper and RAFM – The woman with the baby carriage is actually from RAFM’s Cthulhu line and had a tentacled baby – But don’t worry I removed the tentacles sticking out of the carriage! Just don’t look under the blanket…

The Dead: The Decapitated

Over the next few months I’ll be posting some pictures of a series I’ll be calling “The Dead”, it’ll be different sort of casualties and dead people (Not undead) – These miniatures can give a good eerie environment feeling when playing RPGs and Mordheim if placed in the right places. Anyway, here’s the first one: The Decapitated.

Chaos Shrine & Altar

I recently made a pretty cool conversion piece to use as a Chaos Shrine in Warhammer. It started out with two columns from Fenryll, the gargoyles and skull wall from Games Workshop, the top piece from a chaos chariot (I think), some styrofoam for the bottom, a chaos symbol in the bottom and a bunch of candles on top.

I quickly painted it afterwards and decided that the piece also needed an altar – So I used a Fenryll altar and added candles from Tabletop-Art, a book from Ristul’s and some more chaos symbols.

Jeweler Workshop Completed

The Jeweler’s Workshop in Middenheim

I completed the last items for my Jeweler Workshop – It’s to be used in an upcoming WFRP session. I really went for it with this set, adding a bunch of gems, trinkets, sigils, candles and whatnot.

Finally I tried to highlight everything as extreme as possible to achieve a “Shiny/glow” overall effect, I think it turned out quite good.

Now I just need a miniature for the jeweler. Perhaps I’ll be able to find one that slightly resembles Covetus Shen from Diablo 3, that’d just make my day :-)
