The Tabletop-World Gate

Early Christmas present!

I was supposed to open it Christmas eve,  but with the kids running around high on sugar canes, I thought the most responsible thing would be to open it early (and I was way too excited to wait). I was worried about how it would handle the transport home as well. But when I opened it, it actually turned out less fragile than anticipated. Oh well.. :-)

Good thing I still get to open 2 more buildings from Tabletop-World Christmas eve !

The building is MASSIVE! and as you can see, I’m still behind on the tower and townhouse… In 3 days I’ll have 5 unpainted tabletop world buildings taking up space in my already tiny apartment! So much to paint and so little time!

Chaos Shrine & Altar

I recently made a pretty cool conversion piece to use as a Chaos Shrine in Warhammer. It started out with two columns from Fenryll, the gargoyles and skull wall from Games Workshop, the top piece from a chaos chariot (I think), some styrofoam for the bottom, a chaos symbol in the bottom and a bunch of candles on top.

I quickly painted it afterwards and decided that the piece also needed an altar – So I used a Fenryll altar and added candles from Tabletop-Art, a book from Ristul’s and some more chaos symbols.

Jeweler Workshop Completed

The Jeweler’s Workshop in Middenheim

I completed the last items for my Jeweler Workshop – It’s to be used in an upcoming WFRP session. I really went for it with this set, adding a bunch of gems, trinkets, sigils, candles and whatnot.

Finally I tried to highlight everything as extreme as possible to achieve a “Shiny/glow” overall effect, I think it turned out quite good.

Now I just need a miniature for the jeweler. Perhaps I’ll be able to find one that slightly resembles Covetus Shen from Diablo 3, that’d just make my day :-)

Pre-Painted Commission

I recently finished a pretty large commission job for a customer – To be used for him and his family (Wife and two kids) in their RPG adventures. There’s a bunch of Goblins, Skeletons, Doors, Ghosts & Spiders. The second picture is the heroes and the 4th is the main villain the heroes are facing. The Warhammer High Elf miniature was heavily converted by the customer to look more villainous and I’m very happy with the end result as I think he ended up looking pretty evil.

The miniatures are currently on their way to Spain and I’m excited for the customer to get his miniatures back, now in painted condition :-)

WIP: Jewelers Shop Counter

I wanted to show you all a little WIP picture of a Shop Counter to be used for a Jewelry store in Middenheim (In my ongoing WFRP campaign). I ended up switching the bits around – I added A LOT of gems and fancy stuff and I guess I’ve already used way too much time on the project, but what the heck – As long as I’m having fun. Expect pictures of the finished result soon :-)
