The Dead: The Hanged Man

Another piece done for my project “The Dead” which basically includes corpses, casualties etc.

This time it’s a converted piece called “The Hanged Man”, I used a pole from The Hobbit terrain piece “Goblin Town”. I then added a Games Workshop zombie hanging from a rope, a kind note from the Witch Hunters who hunted this heretic down, a crow eating a piece of rotting flesh from the ground and that’s more or less it.

The result ended up being an excellent terrain piece that can be used for many settings.

Witcher: Triss Merigold Bust

I finally finished painting the bust of Triss Merigold from the Witcher universe. To those interested, you can pick up the bust from Klukva Miniatures, located in Russia, I can only recommend their service. The shipping was actually very fast too, only took 4 days for the package to arrive in Denmark.

I’ve included three pictures, I hope you enjoy them. Go team Merigold!

Warhammer: Skeletons

We had to use some skeletons for an upcoming WFRP session, I thought it would be funny to convert some Games Workshop skeletons to appear like some dead empire soldiers. So I added some helmets and stuff for several of them.
It might be more fun to do with Zombies – Something I’ll consider for the future.

Christmas Gift For My Nephew

He loves pirates and recently had a small toy treasure chest which he “accidently” gave his best friend for his birthday. So my husband and I decided to assemble a treasure worthy for a pirate. A lot of the items inside are parts of our WFRP props, such as the gems, watch (which my nephew insisted was a magic compass) and coins. The jewelry was ordered from China and obviously not worth much, but pirates (and kids) aren’t good at telling the difference, as my nephew spouted: “I’m rich!!” as he opened it! Priceless moment!

Oh, and he took that pirate note we glued to the lid VERY seriously to the point where we had to tell him that if he gave permission to his sister, she wouldn’t be cursed for a hundred years!

An awesome present that is going to be very hard to top next year!

Warhammer: Captain with Gory Sword

An Empire Captain with Gory Sword ready for my Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay session! Painted this guy very arrogant looking. He has just decapitated a giant orc without smudging his fine clothes, so of course he uses a cloth to wipe off the orc leftovers from his greatsword!

This time I used a very pale skin tone combined with grey eye shadow  to give him a “see if I care!” kinda look. I think it worked out great and he is now ready for an upcoming role as an obnoxious Averlander mercenary in our Middenheim campaign :-)

Skaven: Plague Priest

Another Skaven for the collection – This time a Clan Pestilence character, the Plague Priest. The model is actually pretty large and I ended up putting it on a 32mm base from Tabletop-Art. Good thing I didn’t have to use him on a 20mm square base for a Skaven army back in the good old Warhammer Fantasy days – Must have been a joy fitting him into a regiment.

Commission Work: Miniatures

I recently finished another batch of miniatures for a commission job – It included a bunch of heroes & characters – Many of these were Games Workshop minis. I’m really happy with several of the miniatures and was a bit sad to let go off the Lizardmen Skink Priest and Saurus Warrior, but I know they’re in good hands :-)

I also had to paint two female miniatures with Pink hair, which is something I’ve never done before – But they turned out better than I feared.

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Just in time for christmas – The two christmas dwarves below are from Scibor – I painted these two 2 years ago I believe it was. But I figured I might as well put them up on my blog now.

The other two pictures are from a little Christmas diorama I put together this year. I finished painting it a few days ago and kinda had to rush-paint it to be finished before Christmas (I didn’t want it ending up on my table for a whole year ;-)

The miniatures are from Reaper and RAFM – The woman with the baby carriage is actually from RAFM’s Cthulhu line and had a tentacled baby – But don’t worry I removed the tentacles sticking out of the carriage! Just don’t look under the blanket…
