Announced yesterday! I guess my October the 13th just got booked. Just counting days now. Question is if I should use my Yennefer/Ciri Witcher or Triss/Ciri Empress save..
… Plus Ratty the Helper!
3 more Skaven miniatures done for the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign in Middenheim. I added the little exhaust on the engineer in the middle to spice him up.
I fell in love with Ratty the Helper when painting the skaven engineer, what a cute little guy, loading the engineer’s pistol for him! I just had to give him a bit more spotlight, so a picture of the engineer from the other side below ;)
Skaven: Plague Censer Bearers
Two more skaven miniatures done – They’re to be used in my current WFRP campaign – Where the adventurer party has learned that there are Skaven lairs in the mountain beneath the city of Middenheim. Since the city is inflicted by a plague, there’s a bit of a chance that Clan Pestilence may somehow be involved..
The re-release of THE Tower!
My Tabletop-World order just arrived, I had been so sad that I missed out on the Tabletop-World Guard Tower, but since it was just re-released I decided to pick it up right away(I couldn’t resist ordering The Townhouse III as well). As you can see on the picture below, the tower is HUGE – Can’t wait to start out on it.
I ordered some LED’s to put some flickering fire lights into the room with the open windows – I hope it ends up looking good. On a sidenote, I’m almost done painting another relatively new release from Tabletop-World, their Stone Bridge I’ll put up pictures of it very soon.
My first Mordheim Witch Hunter for my Mordheim painting progress is finished. I painted him as a classic arrogant leader of the ruthless witch hunters, hopefully he’ll see some action in my WFRP campaign.
Miniatures Painting Progress
That makes a total of six miniatures – Ulli & Marquand will come up very soon, and a few others that are already done.
As I gradually finish painting more Mordheim miniatures, I’ll make sheets for different warbands, hired swords & Dramatis Personae – But for now, they’ll be mixed together ;)
Servants of the Undead
I just finished up two more Mordheim miniatures for my collection: The undead dregs. I painted their skin quite pale as I figured they run around with the undead all day, so their appearance is probably affected by that. There’s not a whole lot of extra details on the dregs, so they didn’t take me too long to paint. I’ve highlighted their facial features as much as possible to let their apathetic expressions shine through.
A weekend with the Witcher Adventure Game
I recently got the board game The Witcher: Adventure Game. Produced by FFG the game is packed with high quality stuff, tokens, game board, dice and of course miniatures!
As you can see below, the artwork for the game is amazing and the same goes for the game board.
Reikland Captain in Nilfgard Armor?!
Adding another painted Mordheim miniature to my collection, this time one of the Reikland Captains. He’s not exactly wearing Reikland colors as I went for a different theme for this one.
When I was about to paint the Reikland Captain I quickly realized that his armor was very similar to the armor of Nilfgard Knights as depicted in the Witcher computer game series – And since I’m a huge fan of these games I decided to paint him in a Nilfgardian theme. The picture below shows a Nilfgard soldier from the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings game.
