Freebooter: Don Pavo

A few years back when I launched my Pre-Painted project at King Games I did a commission on Don Pavo for a customer. After I was done I was quite sad that I had to sell the miniature. Now I finally got around to painting the mini again, this time for myself :-)

I painted it more or less exactly as the commission piece, so the color scheme was very easy. And I ended up painting it quite a lot faster than back then.

The Halfling Trio

A picture of three halflings from my miniature collection. The halfling on the right was used in an RPG campaign I was a part of 2 years back approximately. He was this VERY annoying ginger halfling, constantly bossing the PCs and other NPCs around. One of the PCs very unexpected ended up killing the poor (But extremely annoying) halfling in a fit of rage. Perhaps the miniature will see his chance for a new role some day :-P

Freebooter: Alicija Degollara

I recently painted up Alicija Degollara (Imperial Armada) from Freebooter’s Fate. I love Werner Klocke’s work and it was as always a joy to paint yet another Freebooter miniature.

The miniature serves as a bounty hunter for my WFRP RPG campaign.

I used artwork from The Witcher 2 as inspiration for this miniature – Ves from the Blue Stripes as seen below.
I’m currently painting a “Vernon Roche” inspired miniature as well – You can’t have Ves without Roche nor the other way around ;-)

Mordheim: The Town Cryer

“Hear, Hear, I’m here!”

Another one done for the Mordheim Collection. This time it’s The Town Cryer from the Hired Swords. I gave him a rather sickly look, as it appears that the miniature is sort of zombified – Additionally he fits perfect into the WFRP Middenheim campaign, as the town is struck by a weird plague (Or gifts from Papa Nurgle?) – So I guess that this Town Cryer can both announce how the plague progresses verbally and visually.. :P

Mordheim: Town Cryer

And of course the Mordheim progress – Added the Town Cryer and The Frenzied Mob: Butcher as well.

Mordheim: Butcher

The Butcher (That I mentioned in my Ogre Butcher post a while back) for my ongoing WFRP campaign in Middenheim is now finished. The miniature is from the Frenzied Mob set for Mordheim. I’m looking forward to see what kind of guy the GM has decided this fellow’s going to be…
One of the PCs in the campaign loves sausages and is currently planning a “Butcher-Crawl” through Middenheim, tasting all the best sausages in town – So he’s destined to run into this guy at some point. Though with 20+ butcher stores in the town it may of course take a while, but who knows?

St. George (Citadel: Travelling Players)

I finished up painting this awesome Citadel miniature “St. George” from the Travelling Players (C46) line that was released in the 80’s. The miniature makes for a great parody of a Bretonnian knight, obviously in a theater play, a costume ball  or something similar. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action in a future WFRP session :-)
