Freebooter Miniatures: Battitora Goth Version

I’m an avid collector of many miniature lines and ranges, and Freebooter’s Brotherhood is one of those. I have painted around 20 of the Brotherhood miniatures (some products come with 2 minis). I love their assassins and they are regulars in our Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (WFRP) sessions. This one (from a set of 2 miniatures: Battitora & Harlequin) was painted a lot different than the official miniature but I like the punk look she has, and as a metal-head she fits my style :-D

For some reason I can’t remember, I didn’t apply tattoos to her skin though they would have fitted perfectly! I even painted outrageous eyeliner and dark lipstick :-P she looks like a mean no-patience character and will do just fine in the streets of Middenheim!

Freebooter Legend: Antoinette

This is one of the limited miniatures that were only available for purchase for a year I believe, from Freebooter Miniatures. It was part of their anniversary and was featured in their Indiegogo campaign.

She is depicted as a drunkard with loads of bottles in the artwork and I think it shows through on the miniature!

I highly regret not backing the project but I didn’t notice it before it was too late :-(  I have been scouting eBay ever since without luck…
I do have the normal box set which this chick is in, along with all the singles. So far this is the only one of them I have painted. I would much rather paint the enhanced versions which came with Indiegogo, but oh well.

I’m not quite sure if I like the way she turned out. Was a pretty experimental experience with the fragile colours, but she definately ended up looking unique compared to my other minis. I really try not to limit my painting range too much. Sometimes, however, they end up a little too unique :-P

Freebooter: Alicija Degollara

I recently painted up Alicija Degollara (Imperial Armada) from Freebooter’s Fate. I love Werner Klocke’s work and it was as always a joy to paint yet another Freebooter miniature.

The miniature serves as a bounty hunter for my WFRP RPG campaign.

I used artwork from The Witcher 2 as inspiration for this miniature – Ves from the Blue Stripes as seen below.
I’m currently painting a “Vernon Roche” inspired miniature as well – You can’t have Ves without Roche nor the other way around ;-)
