WFRP: Female Empire Citizen

I picked up this quite old Marauder/Citadel miniature from 1989 (I was three years old when that miniature was released, wow) on Ebay recently as she fits perfectly into WFRP – There’s a lack of females without wearing dresses or wielding huge weapons, so I was very happy to find this ordinary villager/citizen. She fits into many roles, could be a street vendor, a pedlar, an adventurer or many other roles.

I decided to add the comet to her hat as the miniature was a bit plain.

Mordheim: Undead Characters

Three more Mordheim miniatures done for my Mordheim Painting Progress – Two Undead Vampires & the Undead Necromancer. I painted the vampires pretty traditionally with red and black clothing, one of them ended up a lot more pale than the other, not sure which of the skin colors I prefer.

As for the Necromancer, I actually tried to paint him as neutral as possible as I thought he could make a decent sort of Hedge Wizard/Morr Priest in WFRP, so I avoided too many black colors plus I didn’t try to make him look evil.

17 miniatures done, wohoo! I do have a couple more done that I just need pictures of.

Bragg the Gutsman – Warhammer Ogre

An Ogre walks into a butcher shop in Middenheim…

I painted this handsome Ogre for my ongoing Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign. The ogre is hired by a local butcher in Middenheim to perform various tasks for him (And from what the PCs have heard, some fishy stuff is going on at the butcher shop..)

My character and the rest of the party hasn’t officially met the fellow yet, but I suspect that once we do, there’ll be trouble. I finished painting the miniature quite fast but I’m really glad with the result – I think the skin turned out good.

Middenheimer Captains

City of the White Wolf Captains

Two more Mordheim miniatures finished – These will of course also be used in the WFRP campaign taking place in Middenheim. I converted the Captain to the right as his original weapon was very very small and it didn’t look particularly good.

That’s a total of 11 miniatures done as seen below:

Skaven Engineers & Poison Wind Globadier

… Plus Ratty the Helper!

3 more Skaven miniatures done for the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign in Middenheim. I added the little exhaust on the engineer in the middle to spice him up.

Skaven Engineers & Poison Wind Globadier

I fell in love with Ratty the Helper when painting the skaven engineer, what a cute little guy, loading the engineer’s pistol for him! I just had to give him a bit more spotlight, so a picture of the engineer from the other side below ;)

More Painted Skaven Minis

Skaven: Plague Censer Bearers

Two more skaven miniatures done – They’re to be used in my current WFRP campaign – Where the adventurer party has learned that there are Skaven lairs in the mountain beneath the city of Middenheim. Since the city is inflicted by a plague, there’s a bit of a chance that Clan Pestilence may somehow be involved..

Mordheim: Hunter

Warhammer RPG Bounty Hunter Leader

My second Mordheim miniature is now done – The hunter is the leader of a group of bounty hunters in my WFRP campaign. His base matches the Kislev Ranger’s base as they’re both part of the bounty hunter group – And I figured that wilderness/rural bases would suit both miniatures best.

Overall I’m more happy with the hunter than the ranger, but they still look good together on the table. The Warhammer campaign I’m a part of is centered around Middenheim, the players ran into the bounty hunter group on their way back to the city and learned that they were after two ruthless criminals named Ulli & Marquand who are most likely hiding in Middenheim. So guess what Mordheim miniatures I’m painting next, hehe.
