Painted Miniatures, Terrain & Dungeon Accessories
I already have a lot of terrain for villages and such, but I totally fell for this outhouse from Stronghold Terrain.
I bought the one with the dude… discharging while picking his nose! So funny!
The roof is not attached (for sneak peaks) and the door can be closed if it needs to look unoccupied!
The toilet is also great for Mordheim! We even used it as a joke for the “treasure in the well” loot :-P
About a month ago I wrote a post about the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game heroes. I now present Lini who is a major overpowered hero in the Skull and Shackles expansion. To my defense, I didn’t know that until certain points in the campaign :-P
She is a teeny tiny gnome, so painting details was a bit hard! I did try out some freehand on her armor and think it ended up okay :)

As mentioned in a previous post, our heroes from our RPG group recently went on a search for a Dwarf named Snortek. The reason for this is that the very well loved dwarf Ghartek died a horrible death in the Knobelsdorff society (our First Aid expertised hero failed to save him) Little do people know that Ghartek was an extremely racist Dwarf who hated Elves (especially our Wood elf Hero Beluar with whom he relentlessly pranked in every way possible) and it so happened that right before he died from a Skaven attack, he put all the blame on poor Beluar who now believes he is cursed! (he did temporarily dye Ghartek’s beard pink, drop his glasses into his chamberpot and other sorts of devious pranks)
Luckily, there is still hope for our poor Beluar! Ghartek’s nephew Snortek is heading for Middenheim with funeral plans. Maybe Beluar can redeem himself by being VERY nice to the nephew?
Either way! Here are the now late Ghartek and his rather confused and narcoleptic nephew Snortek (pun intended)
As mentioned in an earlier post, I am currently playing Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Most recently Rise of the Runelords and Skull & Shackles, of which I am a big fan!
Anyway! The game is about moving to different locations using a card with artwork of your character, but I thought it would be a lot smarter to use miniatures instead! Only downside is that it takes a LOT of time painting these minis. By the time I painted all the miniatures for Rise of the Runelords, we had already moved on to Skull & Shackles.
I am pleased to introduce Seoni the Sorceress:
She was a real challenge to paint (so much lining and blonde hair!) but I ended up having a blast painting this one! I skipped her tattoos as I was afraid it would end up ruining the mini due to the tiny freehand involved. She looks incredible when holding the miniature in front of me!

The miniature is the metal Seoni Original Version from Reaper Miniatures Pathfinder range.
The base is painted and decorated by my husband :-D
Next in line is Valeros – Fighter, Merisiel – Rogue, Kyra – Cleric, Lini – Druid, Damiel – Alchemist, Amiri – Barbarian and Harsk – Ranger.

Like many others, painting white colours aren’t my favourite thing, and High Elves tend to wear extensively white and light blue colours. The colours of this one is actually an idea I “borrowed” from one of my friends who built a High Elf army, but decided to make the theme in Blood Elf (Warcraft lore) colours instead of the usual white ones. He never got to the point of painting anything, so I totally stole his idea!
Went for the classic Kael’thas theme with vibrant red and shiny green baubles! He’s ready to show us TREW PAWAH! (Nerd alert)
It’s hard to see on the pictures, but the shield actually ended up pretty cool, starting at dark red at the top and ending with bright orangy red at the bottom!
For some reason, the miniature has “kissy” lips (whatever you call it!), so I had to really tone them down. Somehow he doesn’t seem too tough if he looks like he is about to kiss every passer-by. :-P
I wanted to try something completely different regarding hair, so I painted this chick blond with extreme highlights!
It actually ended looking very beautiful though very time consuming! I love to develop new painting techniques for myself and this one was really fun to paint. I believe it took me an evening of painting.
The miniature is sculpted by Bobby Jackson who usually sculpt for Reaper Miniatures. His recent minis are amazing and I am currently working on Female Mage Seductress, another miniature from Dark Sword Miniatures sculpted by him!
Recently painted this cool Pathfinder Miniature Kyra, Female Iconic Cleric. Instead of her Original colours I chose to paint her as a Wizard of the Gold College. Since we desperately lack female wizards in our WFRP campaign (mainly due to using Games Workshop miniatures which mainly consists of male miniatures, other than Elves)
The miniature is perfect as a Gold Wizard with loads of gems and golden features! I even added some gold coins to the base.
I am currently spending far too much time playing Pathfinder Card Game (Rise of the Runelords and Skull & Shackles) and as a result I wanted to paint our heroes as stand-ins for the usual character card. Unfortunately one of them was Kyra, so I had to paint her again only with her original colours!
They are turning out pretty cool, so I will post pictures of the heroes soon :-D
Decided to dust off Doctor Festus and his loyal champion that my husband very creatively named “Fat Little Nurgle Champion”.
As a collector (of far too many miniature lines) I, of course, collect old Chaos Champions. More specifically Realm of Chaos Miniatures. Not sure which line this guy is (other than Citadel), but he deserves a shared post with “Herr Doktor”. Even though Festus is made in Games Workshop’s Finecast, assembling him was rather painless and the paint really stuck this time. Guess I got lucky :-D
Really love how the Champion fixed his missing leg with an extended arm! Also painted the guy in very rusty colours.
Festus is currently part of my WFRP campaign in Nuln, where he puppeteers the Nurgle followers. Recently, a group of heroes thwarted his grand plan, and he is now keeping a low profile while counting his losses.
I painted this awesome Treasure Set from Ristul’s Extraordinary Workshop. I love painting treasure sets and this set is very original and has lots of cool elements – So I actually ended up painting two of them in different color schemes (I’ll probably sell one of the sets at some point ;-)

I just finished another commission for my friend from Spain, who’s making a cool dungeon project that I’ve mentioned in a previous post. I’m not always a fan of commissions, but I enjoy the wide range of different miniatures I paint for him.
I tried some new methods for painting the skin on the Flagellant (The second picture), with some more extreme highlighting than I usually do. I like the end result and it’s possibly something I’ll start to do more in the future.
For the Mocking Beast (Picture 5) I added some extra gems and pearls that makes the content inside even more interesting.
The dwarves on picture 1 was converted (Not by me) and I think they ended up looking very good. I’m actually not completely sure where the miniatures are from, but I think they’re from Games Workshop :-)
